October is our FAVOURITE month of the year, so what better way to celebrate the season of change, and the time of noticing how beautiful it can be to surrender & let go than a weekend away at the beautiful Shanti Retreat located on Wolfe Island.   

Our week end retreat brings together both the experience & philosophies of yoga, meditation and metaphysics to create exactly the space required to release the non beneficial physical, emotional, mental and spiritual blocks of energy that have distracted us from living in our highest good, in the past, so that we can move with ease, into Self Love and awareness without judgement.  

During this 3-day healing journey you will be surrounded by nature, melting into Restorative Yin Yoga, and learning exactly what the non-beneficial energies are that are located within YOUR Bio-Energetic Field that have been holding you back.

TRACI TRIMBLE, PHD
As a Doctor of Energy Medicine, Traci Trimble, PhD, specializes in treating the cause and effects of depression, anxiety, acute stress and chronic pain through Bioenergetic Emotional Trauma Release.  Her gift is the capacity to hear Soul’s voice and her skillset is in the ability to negotiate with Ego in order to transition one out of chaos and back into harmony.  She works as a Reiki Master Teacher, a Bioenegetic Therapist, a Certified Yoga Teacher (YTT500) and the host of a global radio show called Soul Healing with Traci Trimble. PhD that now podcasts to iTunes, Spotify and Youtube for free.
TATUM POTTER
As an Empath, Holy Fire® III Karuna® Reiki Master, Yoga Teacher & Energy Worker Tatum helps people to “remember” their oneness with the Universe.  Universal Energy is a limitless source of healing, knowledge & awareness that many have become disconnected from, leading them to feelings of isolation, loneliness and depression.  Allow Tatum to guide & teach you about how Universal Energy moves, feels, communicates and heals each of us, creating a solid foundation for you to shift into a life of love, compassion and joyfulness.

You’ll feel at home in Shanti’s spacious century inn and waterside cabins.

This beautiful property has stunning views of the St. Lawrence River and sunsets from the waterfront patio are memorable. The inn’s timbered ceilings and wood stove provide a natural country charm. It’s the perfect setting to curl up with a book, relax by the woodstove, and connect with kindred spirits. Enjoy the ambiance of peace and tranquility that the Asian décor and sacred spaces exude.

Relax in the comfort, warmth, and coziness of guest rooms decorated in themes inspired by our travels and connection with matters of the spirit. As a retreat center, we offer shared accommodation with either a water or garden view, all with private bathrooms.

Guests can also choose to savour the relaxing and detoxifying benefits of the infrared sauna.

Commune with mother earth on this waterfront property and enjoy watching the wildlife that lives waterside. You may even be blessed by a visit from our resident heron. Connect with the majesty of the maples, oaks, weeping willows, and extensive gardens that surround us. In summer, we invite you to take a dip in the bay or go for a paddle in a canoe or kayak. You can also hang out in a hammock, spend time under the Balinese hut, do a walking meditation in the labyrinth, or choose your favorite spot to retreat along this secluded shoreline.

6:30 pm – Evening Meal
8:15pm – Welcome & Soul Healing Circle with Traci Trimble, PhD

Saturday 
7:30 am – Self Serve Breakfast – We would ask that you honour this time in SILENCE until at least 9am
9:00 – 10:30 am – Intentional Yoga
12:00 pm – Lunch & Free time
3:00 – 6:00 pm – Exploring Energy Healing with Traci Trimble, PhD
6:30 pm – Evening meal
8:15pm – Restorative Yoga
9:15pm Bonfire with a healing meditation, followed by a release ceremony with Traci Trimble, PhD

*We have the weekend filled with dynamic classes and offerings, however, we understand the need to relax & reset during your weekend retreat.  The only session that we ask everyone to attend is the Welcome & Soul Healing Circle on Friday evening at 8:15pm, so we get a chance to get to know everyone.  ~ Namaste

CLASS DESCRIPTIONS

SOUL HEALING CIRCLE with Traci Trimble, PhD
This is a 90 minute meditation session which consists of 60 minutes of group soul healing therapy, education and energy healing followed by 25 minutes of a guided meditation focused on Grounding to Earth Energy, Opening to Heart Energy & Connecting to Heaven Energy.

Traci will guide the group through a Ground ~ Open ~ Connect meditation for 18 -20 minutes; while providing a grounding Reiki and/or BEAM Treatment to each individual.  She will balance each individuals Chakras and continue to hold the space while the group moves into a silent period; 3 -7 minutes

INTENTIONAL YOGA with Tatum Potter
Everyone requires an active limber body and it is through Yoga that this gift can be discovered by anyone – in a comfortable way. The missing piece of Yoga in todays fast paced world is the meaning of What the Breath between really signifies – that space where you inhale, hold it and exhale – the Healing Breath. That holding moment healing you whether you are aware of it or not. Yoga does this by teaching Ego to get out of the way of the healing process – because healing is within the mind not from the mind. Yoga is a tool – it is the very first tool in the spiritual tool box because both Ego and Soul are actively engaged in the process without chaos ensuing – bringing us intimately closer to Source and opening each of us to the whispers of the Universe.

I teach Yoga because of its limitless transformational gifts. I watched as Yoga transformed my son, Brock. It has transformed me, and I have so much gratitude for the gift of witnessing my clients shifts and transformational experiences. As an Intuitive Healer and Yoga Teacher, I want to gift this awareness, this experience and this opportunity to others. It is through Yoga that we can all be witness to the magnificence of the Universe, over and over again.

My passion is connecting to Source to receive the most perfect flow of each yoga pose designed for your body’s healing needs in that moment. I teach from a very intuitive space; there is no plan – until you are sitting in front of me I have no idea what will happen. I connect to your energy and it shows me what you are capable of, what you need and how I will guide you in that moment. You connect to your breath and I connect to your story.. that is where the class begins.

EXPLORING ENERGY HEALING with Traci Trimble, PhD
This intensely empowering session teaches you all that you need to know to successfully navigate your life on a daily basis.

We will learn about the huge gap in our personal awareness:
• Discovering 4 levels of understanding Communicating with Self-physical, emotional, mental and spiritual
• Digging into the 5 Energy types
• Interpreting the Awareness Gap using proprietary Gauging System of ‘Where are You at Right Now!’
• Being both Soul & Ego
• Differentiating between Truth vs Reality

BODY SPEAK YOGA with Tatum
Yin Yoga will allow you to create the space to relinquish control, cultivate the capacity for self compassion & awareness.  This is a practice of slowing down and finding surrender in the silence of this time.  During this class I guide you through different Yin Yoga postures each consisting of holding the asana for 3-5 minutes.  The holding time of the postures allows you to get deep into the connective tissues and fascia of the body.

Your body speaks and communicates to you every minute of every day. Do you ever slow down enough to take the time to listen?

During this workshop I guide you through different Yin Yoga postures each consisting of holding the asana for 3-5 minutes. This practice will allow you to really surrender into the postures during your practice. While in each asana we will connect the breath to the body – listening to what the tension or receptive centres in the body might be trying to tell you. When you cultivate the mind, body, spirit connection you open yourself to endless healing possibilities.

RESTORATIVE YOGA with Tatum Potter
During this session you will be guided through a very gentle yoga practice as we prepare for a restful nights sleep.  We will move through about 5 or 6 postures, holding them for several minutes, it allows for passive stretching, creating space within the body and calming for the mind.
